South Jakarta PMI Distributes School Supplies for Manggarai Fire Survivors

The South Jakarta Branch Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) once again showed its concern for fire survivors in RW 06 and 12, Manggarai Urban Village, Tebet Sub-district.

They handed over aid in the form of school kits to student survivors of the Manggarai fire.
South Jakarta Branch PMI Chairman, Abdul Haris said as many as 171 school supplies packages were distributed through the evacuation post at SDN Manggarai 05.
Logistical Assistance Distributed to Kalideres Fire Survivors"Previously, we gave food assistance to them," he expressed, Friday (8/23).
He explained the school supplies distributed consisted of one school bag, 10 notebooks containing 58 sheets, one dozen pencils, three pens, two rulers, two sharpeners, two drawing books, and a set of 12 crayons.
He hoped that it could lighten their burden and motivate them to continue studying.
"Hopefully, it will be useful for them in carrying out educational activities, thus they become the golden generation in the future," he hoped.
Such assistance received appreciation from a student at SDN Manggarai 05 who was a fire survivor, Fikri (11).
"Very happy to receive this school supplies assistance. I will use it well. I hope that all those who have helped will be blessed," he shouted.
